Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains in detail how ArtiQube (“we”, “our”, or “the application”) accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares user data when you authenticate and interact with Google APIs and third-party services.
1. Types of Data Accessed and Collected
ArtiQube accesses only the minimal set of data necessary to execute configured workflow automations. Depending on the user-configured integrations, we may access:
- Google Account Profile Data: Email address and unique user identifier (used solely for OAuth2 account verification and credential mapping).
- Google Drive Files and Metadata: File names, IDs, MIME types, and contents of files explicitly designated in automated backup or synchronization tasks.
- Google Sheets Data: Spreadsheet metadata, sheet titles, and tabular cell values within user-specified spreadsheets.
- Google Calendar Events: Event titles, start/end timestamps, descriptions, and reminders specified in scheduling automations.
- Gmail Data: Message headers, subject lines, body text, and recipient addresses strictly for automated alert dispatching or message querying as directed by workflows.
We do not collect, read, or process any Google data outside of the explicit resources and folders selected by the administrator.
2. How We Use User Data
All Google user data accessed by ArtiQube is used exclusively to provide and execute user-initiated automation routines:
- Task Execution: To process data transformations, run scheduled batch synchronizations, and generate reports across internal systems and Google services.
- Status Notifications: To dispatch system alerts and workflow logs to the account owner via Gmail or Calendar.
- Session Maintenance: To securely maintain OAuth2 tokens and refresh expired credentials automatically.
Explicit Prohibitions:
- No Advertising: We will never use Google user data to serve advertisements, personalized promotions, or retargeting campaigns.
- No AI Model Training: We will never use Google user data to train, fine-tune, or improve generalized machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
- No Data Sale or Brokerage: We will never sell, rent, license, or monetize any user data to data brokers, advertising networks, or any third party.
3. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
- Hosting Environment: ArtiQube is deployed inside a private, self-hosted server environment accessible only through encrypted peer-to-peer networking (Tailscale). It is not exposed to the public internet.
- Token Security: OAuth2 client secrets, access tokens, and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest using industry-standard cryptography.
- Ephemeral Processing: Data retrieved from Google APIs (such as email bodies or spreadsheet cells) is processed transiently in memory during workflow execution. It is not written to permanent secondary databases or persistent analytics repositories.
- Data Retention & Deletion: User data is retained only as long as necessary to complete the automated execution. When a user revokes access or deletes an automation workflow, all corresponding cached data and OAuth credentials are permanently deleted immediately from the host server.
4. Third-Party Sharing and Disclosure
We do not transfer, disclose, or share any Google user data with third parties, except in the following strictly limited situations: - When required by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, or lawful government request. - When necessary to comply with security audits or prevent imminent technical or system abuse.
No external sub-processors or commercial cloud vendors have access to the raw Google data processed by ArtiQube.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance (Limited Use)
ArtiQube strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google Limited Use Disclosure:
